Does it work in a bedroom?
Yes. Plug it into any USB wall adapter, like a phone charger, on a nightstand or shelf and aim it at the ceiling. A wall adapter isn't included.
Will it fit my car?
It plugs into your car's USB port. If your car only has USB-C ports, a small USB-C adapter does the job.
Can I use it while driving?
Yes. The LUMIS CO projector casts soft starlight across your ceiling, the same kind of ambience as the starlight headliners in luxury cars, so you can leave it on for night drives. Keep it on a gentle setting, pointed at the roof (not your windshield or mirrors), and check your local rules on interior lighting.
How bright is it, and how big is the sky?
It gives a soft, round area of stars rather than covering every inch of the room. Size and brightness depend on how dark the room is and how far the projector is from the ceiling or roof. It looks best in the dark.
What's the night-light mode?
Tap the button to switch between the warm night light (a soft glow from the lower body) and the starry sky. Long-press to dim or brighten. Use it as a bedside light at home or a gentle glow in the car.
Can I change the sky?
Yes. Slide out the film and slide in another. The Essentials comes with 3 skies, The Explorer with 6.
Will it drain my battery?
It runs off your USB port. If your car's USB stays powered after shutoff, unplug it when parked for long stretches.
What's in the box?
The LUMIS CO projector (USB-A plug on its flexible neck) and your slide-in sky film discs: 3 with The Essentials, 6 with The Explorer. Designs come from our supplier's assortment and may vary, typically a mix of galaxy, planet and night-sky scenes. No wall adapter is included; it works with any USB wall adapter or car USB port, and USB-C ports need a small adapter.
How long does shipping take?
Most orders arrive in 1–2 weeks when there are no carrier delays. You'll get tracking by email as soon as it ships. Shipping is free in the US.
Can I return it?
Yes. You have 30 days from delivery. Message us on chat or email support@lumisco.us and we'll send a prepaid return label. Using it is fine and you don't need the box. Full refund once it's back.
